Question regarding electric fence effectiveness against wildlife....

I have a boundary fence of approximately 900meter with about 3-400 in bushland. Currently it’s 4strand barbed wire attached on the neighbours side of the fence. I’m getting increased wallaby pressure (due to recent fires). I’m contemplating putting wallaby fencing with a single hot wire over top. However that’s big $$$ I’ve just read on a Gallagher electric fence manual, that a 7 strand electric fence option. What are the thoughts on this?
