Post Options Several types of posts can be used for fence construction. The most widely used are wooden posts. Commercially-produced posts are typically treated to extend the life of the post. Temporary fencing can be used to divide pasture fields into smaller sections to better manage the forage in the fields. Temporary fencing must be electrified in order for it to keep livestock properly contained. This is because it doesn't create a physical barrier, only a psychological boundary. Animals can easily break it. Even cattle that appear docile can get 'spooked' for various reasons and are much more likely to break down a polywire fence compared to a high tensile fence. We are very thankful for the relationships we have with our local ranching community. From providing cattle training to jumping in to lend a helping hand at a moments notice. Prime example, yesterday Officer Jeremy Carabajal was dispatched to loose cows on Sandy Mush Road. Officer Carabajal arrived to the scene and found three cows roaming around in the road way. Our son came up and lined up our 1 ton bales in rows for me to feed. I cut up an old tarp and covered the bales individually. Then I bought two of your tumble wheels. It’s working great! I break off flakes — just flop them over on the ground — and pull the wheels back as needed. The cows respect the line...

Electric Fence Charger. Sometimes also called an energizer or fencer, the charger needs to be powerful enough to deliver a definite jolt when your horse touches it, even when its current is reduced by vegetation touching the fence line or (as sometimes happens) by moist, dewy early-morning conditions. Ignore chargers whose power is rated by miles; look instead for one rated by joules, a measure of the oomph with which the charger is pulsing its thousands of volts of current through the fence once every second. One joule is a minimum rating for fencing that encloses up to five acres,...
